David's work covers a wide field and includes sculpture, carving and lettering in stone, slate, wood, metal and plastics. He also signwrites and paints and gilds some of his work. Anglia TV, British Telecom and the Historic Churches Trust are just a few of the names on an impressive list of commissioning companies and charities. For although much of David's work is spread throughout East Anglia in the form of carvings and incised lettering on plaques and headstones in small village churches, he is also regularly commissioned by architectural practices and private companies wishing to achieve a high standard of letter design and fabrication as part of their building projects.
