Handmade felt is a fabulously versatile textile. This durable, warm, sensuous fabric can be moulded and sculpted to make elegant hats, or teased to make delicate flowers or supple scarves.

Using traditional wet felting techniques, my designs are individually handmade from high quality merino wool to create a unique product.

I am greatly influenced by line and colour - this influence is apparent in the abstract designs of my scarves and wall hangings, and the asymmetrical lines of my hats. The initial inspirations for my designs are varied - the combination of colours on a flower, a misty Norfolk horizon, the curve of a shell – or even rust patterns on a drain cover!
